Day 8 Painting Across America, and this is my first trip to the post office. It felty great to mail out a solid week's worth of paintings- but also kind of crazy knowing that I need to make at least 83 more pieces of art before this trip is over. That number is if I can make it all the way to San Diego in three months. As of now, my goal is 90-100 days total, but we will see if that's possible- I should know by the halfway point in Oklahoma City. I dealt with a little bit of rain today, but overall it was a pretty nice skate. 34.17 miles, and a climb of 1554 feet. I made it to Bull Run, Manassass, Virginia. I found a chill little cove under a bridge the allowed for a really nice view to paint of a fallen tree, I've been trying to give my skies more color than previous days. I been noticing a peachy color in the sky after sunset, and it has livened up my paintings significantly. Looking at the map, I'm going to be in Virginia for quite some time!
