Day 45 - Gore, Oklahoma

Day 45 and I made it to Oklahoma! 44.21 miles skated with 1278 feet climbed. I stopped into a tattoo shop in Fort Smith, and it was nice to chat with another artist. It was a bit of a challenging day because last night, I learned that I was robbed. Digitally robbed from my credit card for $1300... And when I made it to my hotel, I got a phone call letting me know that one of my friends was in hospice care and about to pass away. I had to work my mentality to focus on the positives of the day, and push forward with a smile on my face despite the circumstances. I was able to think back too some good times with my friend, and I contacted the bank to hopefully clear up my card situation. I found a super pretty spot to paint, and turned a rough day into a good time! I learned a whole lot about managing my emotions since I left New Jersey, and I'm doing alright regardless of what lifestyle been throwing my way.
