Day 33 - McEwen, Tennessee

Day 33 brought me to a cute little town of McEwen Tennessee. I had to backtrack last night to get a hotel, so I was wasting some miles, but still feeling like I'm moving forward. At this point in the trip, the reality is hitting me that there's so many extra miles to be pushed! Even if I hit 36 miles a day (my Quota) I'm falling behind schedule. Unfortunately there was an explosion in the town I painted in, earlier that day. An explosives manufacturing plant blew up and took the lives of 16 people. I found a church to paint, and dedicate the piece to celebrating the lives lost, and sending healing energy to the families of the victims. Pretty crazy day, made it 38.05 miles with an elevation gain of 1733 feet.
