Day 23 - Morristown, Virginia

Day 23 Painting Across America- From Rogersville to Morristown wasn’t the easiest skate, but it sure was pretty. I went from having smooth highways for a few days to gravel packed farmland hills for half a day, and rain!
I felt like I couldn’t catch a break, because after I got to smooth roads, there was almost no shoulder at all!
Anywho, I made it about 36.35 miles and climbed 1652 feet on this day, and ended up at a ballpark.
I’ll be honest, I thought I was going to a park that had nature, but when I got closer (and I was racing sunset) I realized it was a baseball field. I was upset… Until I saw the vantage point and realized this would make an awesome painting! This is Frank Lorino Park in Morristown, Tennessee- really nice spot, and there was even a skatepark there! I was caught up painting though…
