Day 10 - Warrenton, Virginia

Day 10 Painting Across America left me feeling defeated. My whole body is finally reacting to the heavy strain of the road. Getting soaking wet yesterday, rolling my ankles in the ditches on the side of the highway, dealing with the stress of the traffic pushing me off the road- and I have another day that is supposed to rain... became a recipe for a day to collect myself, grab some gear from the store, and mentally prepare to continue forward tomorrow. I got only 9.34 miles in today with an elevation gain of 563 feet. I found a nice little opening on a hill, that became my own little spot! I felt refreshed to get the day to take it easy. Back on the main voyage tomorrow!
