September 8th 2025 — Artist and skateboarder Hunter Knolmayer is launching an extraordinary cross-country project—and he’s inviting the whole world to come along for the ride! The Pushing The Art Project is a community-powered mission combining travel, creativity, and compassion into one big, bold adventure.
Starting this fall, Hunter will skateboard over 3,000 miles across America, creating a new painting every single day, and raising funds to provide art supplies to children who need them most.
“The future belongs to those who create, but not every child has the tools to get there,” says Knolmayer. “This project is about changing that—together.”

🎨 A Community in Motion
This isn’t just one artist’s journey—it’s a collective movement.
Through print sales, social media, community support, and shared inspiration, anyone can participate. Whether you’re a teacher, a parent, a fellow artist, or simply someone who believes in the power of creativity—you’re invited to be part of this mission!
How it works:
• Hunter skates across the U.S., over 3,000 miles, while sharing his experiences on YouTube and social media.
• Each day, he creates a new painting—a visual record of the journey inspired by nature and viewer input.
• Every painting is made into a fine art print, available for supporters to collect.
• All profits go directly to buying art supplies for kids.
• We have partnered with ArtReach San Diego- A local nonprofit that aligns with the vision of this mission.
• We are creating a collection of artworks that will be in a gallery exhibition upon completion of the trip.
• Planning a holiday fundraiser to conclude the project!
You can donate, buy a print, share the story, suggest a stop, or simply follow along on YouTube and social media. Every act of support pushes the mission forward!

🛹 More Than a Journey—It’s a Movement
What started as a personal challenge has become something much more meaningful:
We’re building a community.
“A movement of artists, dreamers, skaters, parents, teachers, and believers--
All united by one truth:
Art can change lives!”
⸻
💞 How You Can Be Part of This
You don’t have to donate to be a part of it. The Pushing The Art Project is built on community support, not just dollars.
You can:
• Follow the journey on Instagram, TikTok, and Subscribe on YouTube (@pushingtheart)
• Purchase a print and support a kid’s creative future
• Let me know your thoughts along the way, and leave your feedback and suggestions!
• Spread the word!
The more eyes on this project, the greater impact we can have!

🌈 The Mission
The Pushing The Art Project is more than a cross-country skate—it’s a community effort to paint a brighter future for kids. By combining art, adventure, and generosity, this project’s goal aims to inspire creativity and provide children across the county with the art supplies they need to express themselves. Together, we can empower the next generation of artists and dreamers!
“The future of this world depends on the creativity of the next generation.
And together—we can give them the tools to create it.”
